Mission
The mandate/mission of the Characteristics Inspiring Achievement / Bounce Youth Organization is to provide a safe environment for youth to cultivate confidence, discipline and self-respect, through the delivery of a variety of programs, primarily delivered through the medium of basketball.

The program is centered on basketball, but incorporates additional programs, workshops, mentoring and excursions to help develop characteristics that will inspire achievement.

Objective
The youth participating in this program will be equipped with skills that will assist them in their maturation to adulthood. The program will also expose youth to various activities and provide learning opportunities that they may not otherwise encounter, such as:

1) To provide youth with opportunities to complete high school community hours.
2) To facilitate workshops and social events with the Regional Police, community organizations, corporations, and community leaders.
3) To conduct monthly basketball practices open to the community.
4) To host annual community social and educational events

As a result, the youth in the greater Toronto area will be positive contributing members of their communities, and will less likely engage in deviant behavior.

Mentoring Program
The youth involved in CIA Bounce will be involved in an organization wide mentoring program geared towards developing our family from within, from the ground up. Each participant will be asked to partner up in groups of 2 - 4 to mentor each other with the assistance of our qualified coaches. This mentoring will consist of not only basketball activities but life skills, homework, personal development through interaction and support at games and practices.

BASKETBALL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (BCDL)
This initiative is aimed at children in Grades 5-13, and will teach them basic basketball fundamentals, allow them to execute those skills in games while simultaneously developing discipline and life-skills through motivational speaking and workshops. This upcoming season the program will have over 800 registered participants, they will participate in the program weekly from October to April.
